D. Rafael Calle Portillo started a workshop in La Lantejuela linked to blacksmithing, forging and manual metalwork.
Industrias Relente was founded in 1938 by D. Rafael Calle Portillo. From blacksmithing and forging, the company evolved into the manufacture of jacking pipe moulds, precast frame and pipe moulds, and deep drilling tools.
Relente’s history began as a blacksmithing and forging workshop. That origin still defines a very specific way of working: understanding the part, the manufacturing process and the real conditions in which it will operate.

Workshop knowledge became industrial capacity for manufacturing more complex structures, moulds and mechanical solutions.
The company is now specialised in moulds for pipe jacking and precast concrete, together with tools for deep drilling.
The difference lies in thinking through the part before manufacturing it. Dimensions, use, demoulding, loads, transport and cycle repetition are reviewed from the start so the result works on site and in the plant.
We start from dimensions, drawings, production needs and real use conditions to understand what each part has to solve.
We adjust geometries, closures, supports and opening systems with dimensional accuracy and safe demoulding in mind.
Metalwork, machining and assembly are coordinated to obtain robust, repeatable and easy-to-maintain moulds and tools.
The goal is not to deliver metal: it is to deliver a solution prepared to work, be transported and repeat cycles reliably.
Workshop experience is concentrated in very specific families. Moulds for precast concrete and tools for deep drilling, always with custom adaptation and a technical reading of the project.
